Custom sauna environment computer simulation

What is it?

Full 3D transient simulation of your sauna from ‘cold’ state to hot steady-state, with regulation. 

This package includes one simulation of one sauna. 

Based on real physics : fluid dynamics, conduction, convection and radiation numerically solved in 3D!

Validated methodology (comparison to experimental data)

The package includes one computational run, corresponding to one sauna session. 

Output includes:

• Air temperature as a function of time and space
• Walls temperatures
• Velocities
• Air mass flow rates through openings and leaks
• Detailed heat losses inside the sauna

How you can utilize modeling?

Modeling helps to optimize heating power demands particularly in saunas that are exceptionally large or have unusual shape such as a very high ceiling, plan optimal ventilation, reduce energy losses, and help secure a great thermal experience. 

Modeling works great as a complement for our expert design services, in which we can increase your level of confidence in your sauna investment.
